Waterway Education Day!

Our Grade 4/5/6 Waterway Education Day at DipBridge, Invergordon was terrific last Thursday as well. Mr Pettigrew was very impressed with the knowledge displayed by our students and the way all of our students participated throughout the day.

I would like to  extend a massive thank you to Corey Wilson at the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management  Authority (GBCMA) for organising the day. Buses, presenters and a barbecue lunch were provided free of cost to schools and students. The volunteers, community groups, businesses and government agencies involved were the GBCMA, Fisheries Victoria, Parks Victoria, Goulburn Murray Landcare, Numurkah Fishing Club and the Katamatite Lions Club.

This is a fantastic example of a wide range of people and agencies working together to educate and support our young rural students. Well done.
